Job Description:

Nuun is looking for a Human Resources Manager (HRM) to join our team in Seattle, WA. This person serves as a trusted advisor to the leadership team. The HRM assesses and anticipates HR-related needs as nuun continues to grow.

Responsibilities include:

Employee Relations:

  • Manage and resolve employee relations issues
  • Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations
  • Facilitate actions to resolve employee relations issues
  • Conduct exit survey as needed, analyzing trends & making recommendations.


  • Collaborate with hiring managers on the recruiting process
  • Ensure job descriptions are updated and accurate
  • Screen candidates to ensure for cultural fit and qualification
  • Conduct new hire on-boarding process


Run various reports to keep department stakeholders up to date on department trends and changes.

HR Program Support:

  • Work with CFO on health benefit administration and negotiation
  • Develop short-term & long-term employee incentive programs
  • Compliance including wages within the labor market to determine competitive wage rates.
  • Draft and execute communications to support HR programs
  • Drive employee engagement activities & surveys
  • Other duties as assigned


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • 3-5 years of experience in Human Resources
  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite
  • Experience working with HRIS and ATS software.
  • Must have experience in an always changing environment, prior start up experience desired.
  • Strong organizational skills and highly detailed oriented.
  • Proven ability to identify process improvement and implement necessary changes.
  • Working knowledge if multiple human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, performance management, and federal and state employment laws.
