I've been athletic nearly my entire life. I was an all-state athlete in wrestling, cross country, and soccer in high school and wrestled and ran cross country for a Division I school in college. After college, I basically stopped working out and doing anything active for a couple of years. This resulted in me ballooning to over 200 pounds. After some personal stuff happened, I made a determination to get back into shape and started running again. This eventually led to doing distance running, which eventually led to triathlons. I'm a married father of one - and one of my newest challenges is entering running races while pushing my one year old in a stroller. Aside from racing races of any distance - I do one milers to 5ks to ultras to full distance triathlons - I also enjoy paddleboarding (prone) , surfing, rock climbing, and art. A lot of those activities have taken a backseat to having a one year old running around the house - but they're things I hope to get him involved in eventually. My ultimate goal is to be a great role model for him and show him that if you put the work in to something, anything is possible and there are no limits.
