I don't function without gigantic goals. Goals in every aspect of my life - like starting my own business four years ago, running my first marathon twelve years ago or completing an Ironman two months ago. I am grateful to be able to balance all of my adventures with being a wife, mama, runner, yogi, swimmer, biker, music nut, foodie, saleswoman and road tripper. I work diligently to be an example for my 3 children and other by embracing challenges and opportunities in the same way - with enthusiasm and a smile. Always a smile.
I just completed - no I crushed - Ironman Wisconsin! I have run five marathons and am signed up for Grandma's Marathon in June where I WILL qualify for Boston. I have run more half marathons, 10 milers, sprint and Olympic distance triathlons than I can even count! I will also do at least one half Iron distance next year. I am also on the Board for the local Girls on the Run Chapter which helps me give back to my amazing running community! I biked the AIDS Ride which took me from Minneapolis to Chicago over six days. And I am working on putting together a Ragnar team for 2016!
