I started out way over yonder on the Eastern coast of Canada in my beloved home province of New Brunswick. As with many young Canuck kids, I too started my sporting life playing hockey but eventually found my place in the pool, my head under water & alone with my thoughts. Swimming lead to running & then to cycling & then to doing them altogether.
I pushed on to the left coast & called Victoria home for five years. Swim, Bike, Run, Eat, Sleep, Travel, Smile. That pretty much sums it up! After 15 years of sporting devotion, my body & mind needed a break so back to school I went, just a hop, skip & a rainbow over to Vancouver. Nick v2.0. It was fun doing what the normals do for a year or two then I began to know that something was missing. It was time to play hard again, to sweat again.
So here I am in 2015. I've got some new speedos, "Riley" my handsome Ridley and a marathon PB to crush. What's the big picture you ask, the big dream? Well, it's really NUUN of your business!
