My name is Nicole Sassine, I am 25 years old and I am a Canadian track and field athlete specializing in the 400m. I live and train in Windsor, ON, and have been competing in track and field for as long as I can remember! I spent a successful 5 years running for the University of Windsor Lancers, where I completed a Bachelor of Human Kinetics and Bachelor of Education. My most recent successes have come after switching events from the 200m to the 400m last year. I was a member of the 2015 IAAF World Championship team in Beijing, China, as well as the 2015 World Relay Team in Nassau, Bahamas, and finished the season ranked worldwide in the top 100 in the women's 400m. I am currently training towards a spot on the 2016 Canadian Olympic Team.
