I started running in June 2013 to lose weight and reduce back spasms that sent me to the ER every 6-8 months. 95 pounds later I'm addicted to running and have even gotten fast enough to be competitive in shorter distances. Running changed my life and I use it to encourage others.
1st place overall in the 2015 JW Corbet 18 miler.
I've placed in the top 3 of my age group in 5 races so far.
