I've been running consistently for 20+ years, but really discovered a passion for the sport when I moved to Little Rock, Arkansas, and became active in the local running community. I enjoy training, racing, cheerleading and volunteering at events all over the state (and outside the state!). I'm chasing the unicorn, a BQ, with every training run and I am motivated and inspired by my fellow athletes every step of the way!
During 2015, I competed in 13 races and earned six age group awards; I will complete my third marathon at the end of the year. I also competed in my first Olympic distance triathlon relay (along with two other teammates) and we placed second in the women's relay category. I have been nominated by the Arkansas RRCA as one of four candidates for Most Improved Female Runner of the Year 2015.
