Job Description:

The Accountant will be part of accounting team and completing all aspects of function, from daily transaction to month end close and financial audit support. Our preferred candidate should have relevant experience, whether that means work experience, Accounting degree and possess a strong interest in a healthy, active lifestyle. We’re open to all levels of experience; however, this role is best suited for someone with 1-2 years of years of Accounting experience or a recent college graduate with a degree in Accounting.


Accounts Payable:

  • Manage vendor relations and provide superior customer service and attention to the vendor portal / inbox, including new vendor setup
  • Ensure that all invoices follow the internal workflow process, from approval to timely entering into the ERP (NetSuite)
  • Manage all aspects of expense reports through the Concur system, from approval, to financial statement accruals, to timeliness, new employee training, etc.
  • Responsible for weekly payment to vendors, both check-run and online wires

Month End and Other Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage prepaid assets and liability accruals as part of month-end, including reconciliations, adjusting journal entries and year-end audit support
  • Bank reconciliations – alternate with Sr. Accountant and complete 1 of 2 each month
  • Manage hydration specialist expense, payment and time card import to ERP
  • Report, prepare and process the sales commissions, on monthly basis
  • Shipping and warehouse allocation as part of month-end, across profit centers
  • Fixed Assets – entering invoices to asset ledger, setting up the asset, identifying depreciation period and booking the monthly expense to general ledger
  • Learn payroll and be backup to Sr. Accountant as needed.


  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Advanced Microsoft Office Skills – particularly Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail, ability to multitask, and work cross-functionally with all teams.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication
  • Passion to learn and accept responsibility
