I found my passion for running from an early age, primarily because it was something I couldn't do. I broke my ankle (freak accident!) when I was 4 years old and spent the next few years in a brace, countless hours at a physical therapist and pushing myself to keep up with my brothers. Through it all, I have been involved in running for most of my life. I ran track in high school and was lucky enough to do so in college as well. After college, I transitioned into running half marathons (14 so far) and run my first full marathon in 2015. My goal is to transition to triathlons and eventually, if all goes well, an Ironman. I have never responded well to being told what my limitations are, instead, I accept the challenge.
