I am a 22-year-old runner & yogi. I've been running for the past 10 years - competitively and for fun. After competing in cross country and track during high school and with NIRCA during my time in college in Tennessee, I "retired" to non-competitive, longer-distance running. I completed five half marathons before graduating college and have now moved to training for my first marathon. As a form of cross-training and stress relief, I took up yoga and have seen a positive impact in my running. Though I don't run for time or competition anymore, I run for myself, my health, and to form and maintain community. Running has connected me throughout my series of moves in the past four years. I've formed lifelong friendships through long runs and love to continuously introduce people into this community.
