I'm Eric, I'm 27, and I haven't always been a runner. In college, when I was more focused on watching sports, athletes, and feats of physical mastery on TV, instead of trying them out myself. After graduating, I literally went from the couch to a 5k, and it was love at first sight. After my first 5k, I started running more and more and registered-- and completed-- my first 8k, half marathon, and full marathon. Now I'm training for my sixth and seventh marathons and-- with the help of a positive attitude, great running friends, and proven tools like nuun-- I'm working on widdling down my time to continue improving and get as close as I can to qualifying for the Boston Marathon. It might never happen, but here's to trying.
