sport: Running

My name is Erin Burrett and I am an elite Canadian distance runner born and raised in Nanaimo, BC. I began running at age 9 and competed in track and field until age 18. After a brief break from the sport, I began training more seriously in late 2008. I currently compete in distances ranging from 5km to half marathon and have plans to make my marathon debut in Fall 2015. When I am not running, I work as a health care aide in a senior's assisted living facility and help coach at the Nanaimo Track and Field Club and through West Coast Endurance.
