I am a 37 year old Canadian athlete who competes in endurance events. I specialize in marathons and "Ironman" distance triathlons. As a competitive age grouper, I usually "podium" at provincial/international races. I am also a new mom (gave birth in February) and a nuun lover: I fueled with lemonade nuun tablets for my 31-hour labor. Since my return to racing in 2009 (I used to swim competitively in my younger years), I have been using nuun at ALL races (pre, during and post), it's a crucial component of my race nutrition. Following the birth of my son in February, I went back to competitive running 5 weeks postpartum: I used nuun to ensure that I was hydrated while balancing breastfeeding and training 10-15 hours/week. I understand that you can only take my word for it, but I am a TRUE nuun lover, I can't imagine racing without it. Anytime we go to the USA, I pick up flavours that are unavailable in Canada! I really want to become a nuun ambassador as I am already one at heart.
