A herniated disc and severe back pain derailed my running in 2005, and led me to swimming, and after several years (and a TON of swimming) I decided that I would train for my first triathlon. I completed my first sprint in 2010, at age 41, caught the bug and kept on going. I have completed 10 sprint distance, 3 olympic distance, and one half iron distance event- as well as 2 half marathons! I use Nuun in both training and racing. It is very easy on my stomach and the flavor is not too strong. I drink Nuun All Day at work, and even drink it hot sometimes! I am training for a spring marathon and have already registered for a half iron distance in summer 2016, and I look forward to bringing Nuun on my journey!
