I am passionate about triathlon, I've only been in the sport a few years but love the competitiveness of racing and pushing my body to its limits and at the same time the sense of community it provides. I was overweight most of my life and never played sports and triathlon gave me something to achieve past weight loss it became about loving what my body can do, and seeing the results of my hard work. I'm a bit of an adrenaline junky and raced super sport motorcycles before triathlon, now I get my kicks on two wheels minus the engine. I raced around the world in 7 countries in my first full season and am now back in Canada after having my son and loving becoming part of the local community here. On a random note I found nuun was one of the few things that hydrated me enough so that I could continue to breastfeed while training hard and recommended it to all of the moms in my baby group for daily hydration.
3rd in AG at my first Ironman in Kalmar in 10:56 In one year I brought my half iron distance race time down from 6:03 to 4:56, with a 2nd in AG at Cotswold Half. 6th overall female in Scottish national Duathlon champs 4th female and 1st in AG at Miami man half. I've only raced one and a half seasons and I'm ready to continue to improve hopefully with the help of Nuun. I have not raced many WTC races but will try to qualify for worlds in 2016 in both 70.3 and Ironman
