sport: running

I was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona, I ran all four years and graduated from the United States Air Force Academy in 2012. I spent 3 years serving as an officer in the USAF. I separated from the Air Force in February and moved back to my home state of Arizona where I am now following my passion and love of running in Flagstaff. While this year has been dedicated to refocus my priorities to as ultrarunning career, it has been quite the transition year, but still spotted with race success. I hope to keep building in 2016.

Ultrarunning accomplishments - JFK 50 Mile Champion 2014, Red Hot 55K 3rd place/fourth fastest time in race history 2015, Lake Sonoma 5th place 2015, represented team USA at the 2015 100K World Championships in the Netherlands with a 28th place finish, Stagecoach 55K Champion 2015/CR, Gobi Ultramarathon 50K 3rd place 2015... 3:05:31 50K pr, 5:56:31 50M pr, 7:05:19 100K pr. Track background before getting into ultrarunning - 4:04 miler, 8:41 steeplechase, 13:52 5K, 29:08 10K, All-American in the steeplechase, 4x Mountain West Conference Champion in 2012. In 2016, I am looking to open up my season in January at the Bandera 100K/USA National 100K trail Championships to hopefully get my first national title and get a "Golden Ticket" to Western States 100 Mile Endurance Run. I also plan on running the Mad City 100K/USA National 100K Road Championships to have another shot at a national title and hopefully qualify again for the World 100K Road Championships in December in Qatar. It should be a big year with great results!
