sport: running

I am a 24 year old, Wisconsin native and currently running professionally with Team USA Minnesota, a training center based in Minneapolis compiled of Olympic hopeful distance runners. After graduating with All-American honors from the University of Wisconsin - La Crosse in 2014, I took up road racing and ran my first half marathon in the fall of 2014. In January of 2015, I ran a half marathon personal best of 1:03:31 at the USA Half Marathon Championships and qualified for the 2016 US Olympic Marathon Trials. As I start my professional running career with Team USA Minnesota, I hope to use the 2016 Olympic Trials as a stepping stone towards my ultimate goals of making future US World Championship/Olympic teams in the marathon! I also work part-time at a run specialty store where I love interacting with customers and enjoy sharing my passion of the sport with the wonderful local running community!
