After running Hood to Coast with Nuun in 2013, my outlook on running changed completely. I had more faith in my running and myself than ever before as I completed my first marathon and set quite a few personal records during my training and the months leading up to the big race. The momentum from 2013 continued in 2014 as I ran several half marathons and tackled some high mileage legs during Ragnar So Cal and Ragnar Napa Valley. Unfortunately, I ended up injured for the later half of 2014 and was forced to defer my fall marathon. However, as I work through physical therapy, I plan to be back in action in 2015 and tackle some new relays, hit the trails, and work on setting a new marathon personal record.
