I'm a 48 year old triathlete. I'm recovering from a post race hip fracture. (June28/15.) during this temporary setback I've been given the opportunity to understand hydration and nutrition during a triathlon and its training season. I thought I was doing it correctly however not enough at all. I'd love to see magnesium, calcium and vitamin d/k only in a nuun tab). These are essential to muscle/bone repair and recovery. I didn't fall or trip during the race or before it so the surgeon attributed to some of the cause possible mineral deficiency and dehydration... I'm training at 75% and always with nuun tabs handy! As a single parent of giant manchildren nuun is one hydration product I have them during school and sports that wasn't full of "crap"... And calories... Thanks for the opportunity!
Six triathlons of various distances. My present goal is ironman 2017!
