My name is Rachel and I'm a homegrown Texan. I began my fitness journey after I came out of an eating disorder at 21 years old. I used running and cycling to channel the bad energy into positive and became a healthy, happy person. It was so infectious! I was a gym rat until 25, when I signed up for my first marathon. Running 6 miles in a row constitutes one to sign to run 26 miles. Why not? After that experience, I was hooked! Marathons turned into triathlons that turned into an Ironman. I am constantly challenging myself to become a better athlete, friend and family member. I have an amazing group of people that surround me and inspire me daily to keep chasing my dreams to live my biggest life possible.
