I grew up in Burlington, Ontario playing a wide variety of sports. I found triathlon after years of playing a many team and individual sports. I was recruited out of high school to play receiver for the Western University varsity football team, and after tearing my knee playing, I decided I wanted to make a major shift into a sport a grew up loving. I dove into triathlons head first and set my goals extremely high.
Fast-forward four years later and I have now qualified for World Championships twice and podiumed many sprint and olympic races throughout Ontario's Subaru/Multisport series. I have recently shifted to the half-ironman/70.3 distances of the sport as my focus. It has always been a goal of mine to compete in, and so far it has paid off with my first ever half-iron coming in at a time with a 4-handle.
Outside of Triathlon, I love anything active and outdoors, including: Skiing at Whistler, hiking, playing football, among many others.
